Renaissance Festival of Central Florida Education Day
The Renaissance Festival of Central Florida, held at the Easter Seals Camp Challenge in Sorrento, FL. invites all public, private, and home school educators and students to join us for the First Annual School Day! Students step back in time in a fun way that is appropriate for all ages. As they enter the recreation of a 16th century European village, students will interact with costumed characters representing the courts, culture, art, science, and literature of the Renaissance Period.
Jousting knights, musicians, jesters, and magicians perform on stages and arenas throughout the village. Students will have the opportunity to learn courtly dances, the art of falconry, and the history of arms, armor and weaponry, and interact with historical figures from the Renaissance period.
Teachers will be able to download our Curriculum Enhancement Guide, full of interesting information to use before, during, and after your Field Trip!
The cost is $16.00 per student. One free adult chaperone for every 10 paid students is admitted free. Additional Adult Chaperones are ___ each. Bus drivers are admitted free with proper identification.
It is suggested that students bring spending money for souvenirs. A lunch voucher is included in the ticket price.
